This is a modern ground floor apartment with excellent accommodation more suited to a family. It has 3 double bedrooms , a large living/dining room with corner fireplace and a well equipped kitchen, and one large bathroom. There is plenty of car parking.
The apartment is within walking distance of the lovely old town of Castiglione del Lago, and also near to the lake, with beaches and a ferryboat to the islands - yet it is quietly situated in a residential area with a very large garden and private terrace. The friendly Italian owners, who own a bar and restaurant in the town are pleasant and friendly.
As with all of this area of Umbria, one can easily visit the Tuscan and Umbrian cities of Art - Florence and Rome can be reached by train within approx. 1 hour.
