Once you have decided you wish to book your holiday through us at "Around Umbria", then please email or telephone for confirmation of availabilities of your chosen dates.

In order to confirm your chosen vacation, we will ask for written confirmation (email is quite acceptable) of the exact dates and number of persons in your party ( in order for the appropriate number of beds to be prepared), together with a 50% deposit , which we will duly confirm back and send a receipt. Details of where and how to make payment will be advised.
The lead person in your group must be over 18 years old. Then, eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday you will pay the balance 50%, when all directions of how to arrive at your destination will be sent to you.
Insurance Cover
We strongly recommend that you take out your own personal insurance cover, adequate for your needs, which provides personal liability protection. Whilst we deem all our properties to be safe and of a certain high standard, accidents in the home can happen and it will be up to the individual holidaymaker to make his/her own insurance arrangements. With regard to travel insurance, the same advice applies.
Cancellation insurance will be for you to decide, also.
Should you decide to cancel, once the deposit has been paid, then we will certainly endeavour to fill the vacated period. However if this is not possible then the deposit would, regretfully, have to be forfeited. If we manage to re-let then you will be refunded your original deposit, LESS 20%, which will be retained to cover administration costs on our part. If the vacation is cancelled after full payment has been received the same rules would apply. Health Care and Treatment
For visitors to Italy from other EU countries, a reciprocal health care policy applies. This means that any EU national will be entitled to free health care here in Italy, PROVIDED they bring their E111 form (obtainable from any British Post Office ). Other Nationals should provide their own health insurance policy.

Once your deposit has been received we will send, together with the receipt of same, some local information and advice on living the 'Italian Life' during your vacation.
